INTRODUCTION

Esrjournals hosted as full opne access there are subscription for the authors according to countries ranges in economics classification. Readers are requested to pay only facilitation process because our journals is an open access. The peer-review process, on the other hand, required a lot of resources to be sustainable and perpetual. This is why the Editorial and Advisory Board decided that it was more scholarly and sustainable for the costs incurred during the publication process to be recovered by charging articles processing fees payable by the respective authors.The alternative was to make the journals subscription-based where authors could have published for free but readers would have been required to make annual payments or per article payments to access the information published by our scholars.

The fees required :

Support our journals’s mission in Africa and all over the world.
Some required to have hard copies and need to be printed for libraries.
Assign article-level Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) to publications for consistent linking and availability.
Expert in differents fielf for quality peer-review process.
Development and maintenance of esrjournals website and marketing
Support the others readers with low incomes to publish in our journals.

Increase visibility and make our journals remain autonomous for longevity and perpetual existence., some of our readers are from poor developing countries; a subscription-based system would have meant excluding them from accessing the published information.

Article submission fee

No fees charged for submitting the articles. Scholars are only expected to pay the publication fee after their articles have been reviewed, revised and when accepted for publication.

Notice that this is an open access , those are processing charges and publication charges is free.

Print Publication

Esrjournals has no limite for printing the arcles ,Scholars interested in receiving the printed issue containing their articles are expected to pay an additional fee of 50 US Dollars and sent her/his address to received the printed copy in two copies . This is because all our print versions are produced quarterly. Scholars should, therefore, be patient until the next scheduled print is out before they can receive the hard copies of their online publications. For this reason, we usually advise scholars to first pay the online publication fees first to have their article published and pay the additional fees later when they are notified that the hard copies have been printed.

How to pay

Payment of the applicable articles processing charges can be done through PayPal, M-Pesa, EazzyPay and direct bank deposit. The specific details for the payment process are however made available only after the articles have been accepted for publication. This ensures that scholars do not make anticipatory payments before their articles are accepted for publication.

Editorial Team Roles

Chief Executive Editor

The Editor-in-Chief of esrjournals /Maatskaplike Werk plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the Journal’s publication process. Overall, the Editor-in-Chief is instrumental in executing the journal’s policies.

Tasks and responsibilities typically include:

Editorial Oversight:Responsible for the overall editorial direction of the Journal, setting the tone, scope, and focus of the content to ensure alignment with the Journal’s mission, vision, and policies.
Management of the operational editorial team:Delegates and oversees the work of the managing editor, language editor, and financial and digital administrators.
Editorial board and editorial advisory committee management:Recruits and appoints editorial board and editorial advisory committee members for a three-year term. Continuously engages with them regarding their expectations, assigns tasks, provides clear guidelines for responsibilities, solicits expertise, and makes decisions regarding roles and responsibilities. Reviews re-appointments after every three-year term.
Peer review:Oversees the peer review process, including selecting and managing a team of editorial board members and editorial advisory committee members (reviewers). Makes final decisions on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on reviewers’ recommendations.
Quality control:Ensures the quality and integrity of published content, maintaining the Journal’s standards for scientific rigor, clarity, and ethical considerations.
Content selection:Selects articles for publication in particular issues, resolving disputes or uncertainties about a manuscript’s suitability.
Ethical oversight:Upholds and enforces ethical standards in publishing, including plagiarism prevention, conflict of interest disclosure, and adherence to ethical guidelines for research involving human subjects.
Managing submissions:Oversees the submission and peer review systems, ensuring efficiency and transparency in the process.
Decision making:Makes final decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection, based on recommendations from reviewers and editorial board members. Decides on special issues, editorials, and other content.
Communication:Communicates with the Chair of the editorial board, authors, editorial board, and editorial advisory committee members regarding the status of submissions, decisions, and editorial policies. Engages with the Journal’s readership and the broader scientific community.
Maintaining the focus of the Journal:Ensures the primary focus of the Journal is on scholarly work from South Africa. Aims for at least 40% of research articles published in a two-year period to indicate significant South African participation.
Journal strategy:Develops and executes the Journal’s strategic plan and policies, including decisions about open access, website content, digital publishing, indexing, and marketing.
Conflict resolution:Handles disputes between authors, reviewers, or editorial board members and makes decisions to resolve these conflicts.
Promotion and outreach:Plays a primary role in promoting the Journal, expanding its readership, and enhancing its impact and reputation in the scientific community.
Record keeping:Maintains records of the number of articles reviewed by each reviewer and other statistics necessary for the strategic operation of the Journal.
Reporting:Provides the editorial team annually with a report on the work and functioning of the editorial team and the Journal in general, including recommendations for Journal improvement.

Editors

Conduct your activities in accordance with generally accepted industry standards for integrity and objectivity and with the policies of the journal and the publisher. We further recommend that you consult the COPE short guide to ethical editingopens in new tab/window
Reviews the technical formatting and ensures that articles adhere to journal standards.
Manages details related to tables, figures, and references.
Ensure a supply of high-quality manuscripts to esrjournals in quantities that are able to maintain the publishing schedule of the journal. If insufficient manuscripts are being submitted, then you should discuss how to address this with your publishing contact
Provide the subject matter of the manuscripts reflects any changes of direction in the field of study to incorporate newly-emerging work (this may necessitate inviting articles or special issues)
Select the Editorial Board, in co-operation with your publishing contact
Continually engage the Editorial Board on the progress of the journal and update and include them on ideas for editorial development. The Editorial Board should be involved formally through an annual Editorial Board meeting or informally in ad hoc meetings and discussions
Provide strategic input into your journal’s development. Your publishing contact will be in touch regularly to report on the journal’s performance and suggest possible strategies for development, as well as discuss your suggestions
Cooperation advertising, supplement, and reprint opportunities, if these form important sources of income for your journal
Board of Advisory Editors
The editorial board (sometimes known as an advisory board) typically consists of a group of prominent people in the journal’s field. Having an editorial board is very important: they act as ambassadors for journals. To some extent the quality of a journal is judged by the members and academic credentials of its editorial board.
